How do YOU do it?

After the past few days I have been left wondering, how do people do it? How do you find the time to write, and read all the blogs you follow, AND check out new ones too? Seriously. I really what to know. Especially as I am doing my best to write a post a day.
Do you have a system or pattern that helps you, How do you do it?!?

Thanks!

  1. I talk about this in a video I just posted (here, if you’re interested: https://overanalysingliterature.wordpress.com/2016/07/01/belated-200-follower-qa-video/)

Basically, it’s all about choices and giving some things up. Making the decision to blog instead of other recreational activities one could be doing. It’s a trade-off. I don’t sleep that much, I almost never watch TV, and I don’t have much of a social life. But hey! I do blog. 🙂

    • Ahh, yes I have not had a chance to check out that post yet, but will do so today. Thank you!😀

Not sure if there is much more of non designated/essential time I have to shuffle around. But it is definitely about choices -past and current. 😊

  2. Sometimes it’s hard to write a post every day. I’m using the Blogging University Everyday Inspiration at the moment. It was great last week but I’m a bit behind now, bit knackered today so my brain isn’t firing enough to take the inspiration they email across and run with it! I check out the blogs I’m following and browse my tag categories for new ones on the train to and from work on the app. That’s really a big help.

  3. This is hard to answer but it comes down to doing what you enjoy. You will always make time for things you love. I started my blog as a way of improving my writing. I committed to it and now I really enjoy it. Yes there are days I can’t write and that is alright with me. I try to write when I feel like writing so that I’m more productive.

As far as keeping up with other bloggers, you won’t have time to keep up with everyone and you don’t need to. If they enjoy your blog they’ll keep coming back. I generally interact with those that interact with me. I have also followed some large blogs that I check out once every few days because I like them.

I also check new blogs once in a while to encourage them on. Sometimes belief from a single person can make a huge difference for them.
